Tech Talk: Build Reliable AI apps with Observability, Validations and Evaluations
Speaker: Hoc Phan (Okahu)
Abstract: As generative AI moves from experimentation to enterprise deployment, reliability becomes critical. This session outlines a strategic approach to building robust AI apps using Monocle for observability, Okahu’s VS Code Extension for diagnostics, and Okahu Cloud for workflow evaluation. Discover how to create AI systems that are not only innovative but also predictable and trustworthy.

Tech Talk: Building Secure AI Systems
Speaker: Aum Upadhyay (Silmaril) | Eduardo Velasco (Silmaril)
Abstract: AI apps have sprinted past traditional AppSec. Bigger and more dynamic attack surfaces, lead to the even greater spending on security to fall short, leaving systems largely exposed. This causes ripple effects which prevent Gen AI adoption in businesses. In this presentation we will discuss threats that are growing in blast radius and popularity as well as methods of testing to determine if your system is vulnerable. We will demo Silmaril, an autonomous offensive security testing framework. There will also be a live demo of a critical vulnerability in OpenAI we discovered using our framework, Silmaril.
